Two Unique Aston Villa Football Shirts 1999/00 David James No 1 signed Aston Villa outfield football shirt with the team signatures to the front including David Ginola, Paul Merson, Ugo Ehiogu, Gareth Barry, Gareth Southgate, Dion Dublin, Alan Wright, Ian Taylor, George Boateng, Julian Joachim, Steve Watson, Darius Vassell, Peter Enckelman and James signature to the back, this together with a 2001/2002 Peter Schmeichel No 1 outfield Aston Villa football shirt, long sleeve, both shirts interestingly produced for tactical reasons should the goalkeepers be required to play outfield, very rare shirts in this form.David James shirt has a couple of stains on the front & rear but would look great framed.

Goal keepers shirts would have been prepared for use by the goal keeper in the event of him being required as an outfield player. Goal keepers shirts were issued as outfield shirts when the substitue rule changed in 1994/95.
