Hamburg SV Believed To Be Game Worn Shirt Late 1970's Signed by Squad Including Kevin Keegan

Description

Hamburg SV, 1977/78 game worn Number 6 there is a chance but would need more research that this shirt could have been worn in the match against Liverpool in the 1977 European Super Cup if proved that this shirt was from the game it could be either Klaus Zaczyk (more than likely his shirt as he has signed the shirt) or Manfred Kaltz for Hamburg SV long sleeved shirt signed by 19 players/squad including; Kevin Keegan, Felix Magath, Jürgen Stars, Georg Schorsch Volkert, Willi Reimann, Ferdinand Keller, Klaus Zacyk, Arno Steffenhagen, Peter Ogly, Casper Memering, Peter Hidien, Horst Bertl, Kurt Eigl, Rudi Kargus, Andreas Karow & three more that I can't identify at the moment all in signed black marker pen.

The reason for thinking that this shirt is from this match is that the shirt eneded up in England and was probably a player had swapped the shirt after one of the games with a Liverpool player and the fact that Kevin Keegan was playing and he also has signed the shirt make this quite probable. The shirt has all the correct markings and badges of the shirts that wrere worn in that final.

The 1977 European Super Cup was a match played over two-legs between German team Hamburg and Liverpool. Hamburg took the lead in the first half of the first leg when Ferdinand Keller scored. A David Fairclough goal in the second half levelled the match at 1–1 in the 2nd leg Liverpool scored when Phil Thompson scored then A hat-trick from Terry McDermott and goal each from Kenny Dalglish and Fairclough secured a 6–0 win for Liverpool to win their first European Super Cup.
